Temple Estrada, a local painter and Executive Director of Keystone Chamber of Commerce will be on-site at Prairie Berry Winery November 4 from 2:30–5:30 p.m. for an afternoon of wine and painting.
Whether you’re a beginner painter wanting to learn how to paint or just want to enjoy some laughs and good wine with friends, this event will teach you not to be afraid of painting (the wine also might help conquer that fear).
Cost is $40 and includes a private wine tasting, a complimentary glass of wine, and all painting materials. Tickets are available at PrairieBerry.com or by calling 605-574-3898.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I was born and have lived most of my life in Northwest Nebraska drawing, painting, carving, and sculpting for as long as I can remember. When my children were little, I opened a decorative painting business with my grandpa. We started with finished products but ‘Naptime Designs by Temple and Pa’ grew to include; the publishing of 6 decorative painting instructional books, a line of pattern packets, and artwork licensed to the gift-ware market, scrap booking, and greeting card companies.
My life took a different path and I went on to own a restaurant and entertainment venue for a number of years. That chapter came to an end and I met Patrick, my husband and love of my life. I was lucky enough to get to travel all over this beautiful country for almost a year with him.
Somewhere in the midst of that, friends of mine had heard about “wine and paint nights” and asked me to do one. One has turned into several, and I absolutely love teaching this type of class.
