Mark your calendar for the next installment of the Miner Brewing Music Series! Join us in the Tap Room at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, as progressive folk outfit Them Coulee Boys return to Miner Brewing Company.
Them Coulee Boys hail from Eau Claire, Wisc., and have spent the last four years building a following throughout the Midwest and beyond. Since 2016, they’ve toured alongside John Fogerty, Yonder Mountain String Band, Sam Bush, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, and Pert Near Sandstone. Last November, they opened for Charlie Parr in the Tap Room.
The group mixes folk, bluegrass, punk, and rock-n-roll influences. Their 2016 album Dancing in the Dim Light was named the Best Local Album in the Chippewa Valley by Volume One Magazine. The album features 10 thoughtful songs, rooted in honesty, with a conversation quality to the lyrics. Contrasting with the thoughtfulness of the words is the music’s lively energy, which is suited to stages both big and small.
Advance tickets to this all-ages show are $10 each and can be purchased online, by calling 605.574.9635, or by visiting Miner Brewing Company’s Tap Room in Hill City. Tickets sold on the day of the show are $12 and will not be available online.
